Ten Ball Backpack
Creating a backpack is often complicated, with hours sweating over a hot pencil and pad; working with a team of product specialists analysing the best way to build a bag for a specific purpose, utilising fabrics and leathers to come up with a robust and well engineered product. It’s akin to building a house…
You may have guessed Ten Ball Backpack was not conceived in such a way. Ten Ball Backpack was designed in less than 30 seconds, was based on the construction of a tennis ball (hence the name – but renamed shortly after because of – well because tennis ball bags are ‘a thing’ and we didn’t want to confuse a bunch of people) yet has ended up this perfectly brilliant small backpack. Not wanting to simply write the sentence, ‘this bag is amazing buy it’, over and over – we’ll start.
Ten Ball is a simple clean crisp design, to the front is an arcing double YKK metal zip opening to the main compartment, on the back is a small concealed pocket for wallets, sunglasses etc. The tardis like interior features one padded slip pocket – 27 cm x 28 cm which is perfect for a 13 inch laptop, 13 inch MacBook Pro, Chrome book etc. Additionally a second slip pocket for a tablet or iPad, sized 28 cm x 23 cm and a secure zipped pocket 17 cm x 14 cm for wallets or drugs. The actual main compartment is perfectly suited to carry documents or paper work, lunch, water etc.
The shoulder straps are made from suede and canvas, padded and adjustable with electro plated grey custom hardware, all seams, even on this small bag are double or triple stitched. This is the perfect commuter, cycle, grab bag for the beach, whilst it is smaller than the other bags we’re known for, it is ideal for a day at work or play.
